Stage 1 - PCSO Application

The competency section is a pass/fail section on the form and this is where you evidence transferable skills/experience such as customer care and respect for diversity. Failure to demonstrate such skills/qualities will result in your application being rejected. It is vital that you select appropriate content rich answers, our Application form checking service will help you do just this. More information about our application form guidance and checking service can be found here.
No application form can hope to provide a full assessment of an individuals personal qualities and experience. The Police Service application form has been carefully designed as a sift for applications ahead of the more extensive assessment procedures. It was tested on large numbers of potential police applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to ensure it as fair to everyone and reliable to score.

Hi David, just to let you know I have now passed my assessment course. Thanks for all your help and giving me a second chance to benefit from your expertise, as first time round my revision was poor. Anyone reading this take David's course if you really want to pass and make sure you revise all the handouts you are given. Thanks Anthony - received 04/07/10
